Bible Time: Tabitha and Lydia
God's People Share Hope
Be generous and ready to share. 1 Timothy 6:18
**We learned about Tabitha and Lydia and how cloth was important to both of them. Tabitha used cloth to make new clothing for poor people, and Lydia sold purple cloth in the marketplace. Both of them heard the news about how Jesus died on the cross and arose at Easter to take away our sins and to give eternal life in heaven. The love of Jesus in their hearts helped them share loving kindness with others. It is the power of God working in us, His forgiven and saved people, that enables us to live for Him and to help others!
