A New Week!  Bible Lesson:  Jacob's Troubles  We  heard the account from the Bible how Jacob lied to his father and tricked his twin brother.  Jacob went far away to be safe from his brother who wanted to harm him.  Jacob rested on a rock on his journey, and during the night, Jacob had a dream.  He saw a stairway of angels walking up and down with God at the top.  God said to Jacob, "I am with you and will keep you wherever you go."  Jacobs' life was anchored in His promise.  By God's grace, Jacob became Israel, receiver of the messianic promise!

Bible Words:  "God is with you wherever you go."  Joshua 1:9
